Planta de Arte is located in Serra Grande, Bahia, Brazil, surrounded by the lush nature of the Atlantic Rainforest and close to the Atlantic Ocean.
The nearest airport is Jorge Amado Airport, in the city of Ilhéus, approximately 40 kilometres from Planta de Arte.
How long is the February 2027 retreat?
We offer two retreat options:
Full Retreat: 10 days, from February 22 to March 3, 2027, with 5 ceremonies.
Short Retreat: 6 days, from February 26 to March 3, 2027, with 3 ceremonies.
What is included in the retreat?
The retreat includes simple, welcoming and carefully prepared accommodation in a natural setting, with different shared accommodation options.
It also includes healthy meals; ayahuasca ceremonies in the Shipibo-Conibo tradition; medicinal plant baths and herbal preparations; art therapy sessions; body awareness practices; massages; and time for rest and integration of the experience.
We can help arrange return transportation between Ilhéus Airport and Planta de Arte, with prior coordination.
How do I know if I can participate?
Before confirming your participation, we will send you a health questionnaire and have a personal conversation to get to know you, listen to your motivations and assess whether the retreat is suitable for you.
Ayahuasca may have contraindications and interactions with certain medications. This initial assessment is therefore important for your well-being and safety.
How should I prepare for the retreat?
Before the retreat, we will send you preparation guidelines, including a simple diet with certain dietary restrictions for one or two weeks before your arrival.
We will also provide the necessary guidance to help you prepare appropriately, taking into account your health and personal circumstances.
