The Shipibo-Conibo Tradition
The Shipibo-Conibo people, originally from the Peruvian Amazon, preserve a profound tradition of knowledge and working with medicinal plants, passed down from generation to generation.
Within this tradition, ayahuasca, known as Oni, holds an important place. Ceremonies are guided by the singing of ícaros, traditional songs that are an essential part of the work of plant medicine masters.
At Planta de Arte, our ceremonies follow the teachings received from Shipibo-Conibo masters and families, with deep respect and gratitude for their knowledge, culture, and origins.

Planta de Arte, Bahia
Located in Serra Grande, in the heart of Brazil’s Atlantic Rainforest, Planta de Arte is an intimate and welcoming space surrounded by lush nature, where we cultivate, study, and continue learning from medicinal plants.
It is also our home, a place where plants, art, and physical expression come together. Among gardens, sculptures, and creative spaces, just a short distance from the ocean, we share a way of life rooted in a close connection with nature.
